Yogi's First Kayak of the Year

I usually don't blog on my Mom's website, but I just couldn't resist this one. On April 4th my Mom thought it would be a good day to break in the kayak for the year. I did really good, as I patiently

waited for her to launch the kayak. For some reason, she tried something new. She thought she would get in the kayak first and slide down the bank into the water without getting wet. I wish she would let me use the camera for once! This would have been a great video. She slid down into the water alright, but the water poured in as the nose of the kayak dove under the water and filled the whole seat area. Boy, she can move really fast if she wants to. After she emptied the water out she let me get in. I did a really good job and we had a nice kayak. She let me share a few pics of our first kayak adventure of the year, but sorry no video, darn it!
